The mission of Thornton Pride is to help LGTBQIA+ Thornton Community members feel respected, affirmed, and included while highlighting the vibrant culture and contributions of the queer community. Thornton Pride is designed to be a safe space for LGBTQIA+ youth and families. The event is for all ages! There are lots of activities for young people and the young at heart. We are also a sober alternative to other pride celebrations in the area.
Activities include a DJ, Storytime, Arts & Crafts, Beach Ball Volleyball, and much more!
***Please arrive 5-10 min early for your shift. Parking is located on the North Side of the park, near rear entrance to Thornton Community Connections. Once parked, please go to the red City of Thornton Recreation tent at the street entrance of Lu Marry Park. You will meet Beckie Bean, Sheena Skinner, and/or Jessie Myers from TASHCO to get further instructions. Thank you for your help making Thornton Pride a success!
