Description

The Project

Northglenn/Thornton Rotary in conjunction with the City of Thornton Fire Department and the Colorado Chapter of the American Red Cross will inspect and install 10-year battery life smoke detectors in a 55 and older mobile home park community – Thornton Estates with approximately 208 mobile homes.

Volunteers will be put into teams of three members.

We have a need for volunteers who would like to help the homeowner with an escape plan in case of a fire (Educator) a person responsible for installation of the new Smoke Alarm (Installer) and a person responsible for documentation (Documenter).

Smoke Alarms and installation materials will be provided by the American Red Cross.

Online training will be provided.  Please respond to this opportunity and we will reach out to you with further information.
