The Perfect Holiday Gift (PHG) Program connects families and individuals that are struggling during the holidays with gracious donors that are willing to help purchase gifts and meals for these families. Community Connections partners with nonprofit organizations, school districts, faith-based communities and other government entities that can attest these families are in need and nominate them for the program. These organizations sign up on our PHG program website as a Case Managers so they can share these family’s heartfelt stories and our gracious donors can learn more about these families as they choose one or more to adopt during the holidays.

Volunteers will accept the gifts and meals from our donors, wrap, store and organize them in our PHG room, and contact the families to let them know their gifts and meals are ready to be picked up.  Then they will help the families and/or residents when they pick up their gifts and meals. This is a multi-date volunteer opportunity starting November 28 - December 19, 2022. Shifts are from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Monday thru Thursday and 8:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. Fridays. Visit the volunteer shift schedule for additional hours.
