We’re seeking your support for our 3rd Annual 9/11 Day of Service project! This year, we’ll be working at the Veteran’s Memorial Aquatic Center, taking on a variety of meaningful projects to honor and serve our community.
One of our key tasks will involve resetting and placing new memorial bricks in the designated memorial area. If you have experience with brick laying or masonry, we’d love to hear from you—please email me directly if you have this skill set. We may need your help with some preliminary preparation work prior to September 6.
In addition to the memorial brick work, most volunteers will assist with general clean-up and landscape maintenance throughout the surrounding park. Our goal is to create a welcoming and respectful environment to honor our veterans.
We’ll provide gloves (or feel free to bring your own), tools, water, and a light lunch.
