Forestry

Forestry is part of the Parks division in the City of Thornton's Parks, Recreation & Community Programs department.  ​​​​​​​​​Thornton Forestry is dedicated to the stewardship of trees and other plants throughout Thornton. 

We provide advice to our residents concerning their landscapes and the plants associated with them. We design, select, plant and maintain trees, shrubs, perennial and annual flowers in the City of Thornton park system using the best available horticultural information and technology.
