The Perfect Holiday Gift (PHG) Program connects families that are struggling during the holidays with gracious donors that are willing to help purchase gifts and grocery gift cards* for these families. Community Connections partners with nonprofit organizations, school districts, faith-based communities and other government entities that can attest these families are in need and nominate them for the program. These organizations sign up on our PHG website as Case Managers so they can share these family’s heartfelt stories and our gracious donors can learn more about these families as they choose one or more to adopt during the holidays.
Volunteers will help accept gifts from our donors, store and organize gifts, and contact families to let them know their gifts are ready to be picked-up.
*Grocery gift card. The PHG program will no longer provide holiday meal bags with canned goods, instead, a grocery gift card will be provided giving families the freedom to craft their holiday meal.
