The Community Connections team is looking for a warm and helpful volunteer to greet residents as they enter our building. Come join our team for a fulfilling and interactive filled few hours each week!
Duration
- Several dates and time slots are available until April 3, 2025.
- Recurring shifts every Wednesday and Thursday, 9:00a.m. – 2:00p.m.
Tasks
- Greet residents entering the Community Connections building and direct them to the Free Tax Assistance area.
- Assist residents with scheduling tax appointments by phone and online (guidance will be provided).
- Assists visitors with wayfinding, explain the layout of building, direct residents to restrooms, and other resident amenities.
- Take initiative to assist visitors as needed (i.e., open doors, etc.)
Qualifications
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to stand and walk around the Community Connections building.
- Friendly and attentive with a desire to interact with residents.
- Ability to speak Spanish or other languages in addition to English would be an asset to this volunteer position.
- All volunteers must pass a criminal background check.
