Volunteer: Lions Club Relays 2026

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED 

 


Lions Club partners with the City of Thornton and local Elementary Schools to bring you the Lions Club Relay Races. This exciting sporting event features runners from first through fifth grade competing in team relays. All event entry fees will benefit the Lions Club eyeglass replacement program.

Volunteers are needed to assist with the Lions Club Relay Races.  This is a great opportunity to give back to the youth in our community.  Sunday, May 3rd from 9:30 am - 3:00 p.m. Five Star Stadium  9360 Washington St. Thornton, CO  80229

 

Various job assignments available such as:

Staging Assistants Pickers (Stands at the finish line and hands out ribbons) Escorts (Escort athletes from the center of the field to their corners)  Flaggers  Gate control
